Phase 1
Consultation & Ideas
We meet with you to listen to your needs and wishes for your project. Here we discuss such aspects as the size, location, if you have a plan and what style you want to achieve and financing. This is the starting point where we begin to create your desired project.
Phase 2
Design
At this juncture, you direct us from a plan you have in mind or we start from scratch. We then set up a meeting with an architect to begin computer generated plans. When the plans are finished, we meet a second time to review them, make any changes and resubmit to the architect. This process may take several meetings to get final phase plans exactly as you desire.
Phase 3
Materials Selection
At this time we begin to assist you in making selections regarding plumbing, fixtures, floor coverings, cabinetry, interior and exterior finishes… in order to begin acquiring bids per line item. Bids are acquired per line item and a total cost estimate begins to take shape.
Phase 4
Reviewing Materials & Cost Breakdown
Here we review the bids per line item and make final adjustments. Another meeting is scheduled to go over the cost breakdown with the final changes. At this point a contract is signed by both parties.
Phase 5
Construction Commences
Construction commences after plans are complete, contracts are signed, financing is secured and permits are acquired. This is the beginning of monthly “sit down” meetings where progress and change requests are discussed, all invoices and bills to date are compared to initial cost breakdown. In addition to monthly meetings, we will be communicating by phone and on the job throughout the project, I am always available.
Phase 6
Final Inspection – Move In – Success!
